Here you can insert NIMs or single files. If you select a project in the project window, its private SSK key is copied into the key window - so simply add a name behind it. If you did not select one or if your project does not use SSK keys, KSK@ is shown as default. You may enter "CHK@" here as well to create CHKs. If you enter "none" here, the file will be inserted as CHK@, but there will be no metadata that points at it. You can insert some custom metadata referring to it if you want to.

auto-advance to next slot:

if your key ends with a dash and a number (e.g. -99) and check this option, after a key collision with a different (!) key, FIW will retry with the next number (-100 in that example). This will go on until an empty slot is found. So this feature is useful for inserting NIMs.

HTL specifies the HTL for inserting (surprised?).

Content-Type gives the MIME type the file will be set to. Simple text files (like NIMs) need "text/plain" here, HTML files need "text/html" here and so on.

"Filename" means that you enter a file name into the box below - this file will be inserted.

"Redirect URI" means that you specify a key in the text box where the key in the key box redirects to.

"Raw metadata": You should only use this if you know what you are doing.

Ensure you are online and click "Next >>" to finish the process and start inserting. If nothing happens, check your settings again (e.g. a negative HTL or a nonexisting file name will stop here).
